This framework is voluntary and we intend it to be used for discussion, engagement, education and assessment. If it helps, please use it at your discretion and adjust it to your organisation’s own approach to governance. However, the further away you move from our overall framework, the less easy it is the benchmark with others.
The primary objective of this framework is to provide organisations with a tool to evaluate the maturity of their ICT governance. It is not about passing or failing but understanding where you stand and what areas need improvement.
